Review
The Motorola Moto G4 is a nice phone and is very good. The exterior of the device looks
very nice, and is designed so that it’s nice to hold and feels good in your hand, much
like many Motorola products. This phone has a back camera which is a whopping 13
megapixels, but Motorola have achieved cameras almost two times better on some of their
devices, but the camera does take nice high-quality photos and videos. The front-facing
camera on the device is also quite good, although it’s about a third as good. It’s 5
megapixels and meant for really just video chatting, also, it isn’t at its best in
low-light conditions. There is also a micro-USB charging port provided too for charging.
The headphone jack is also there, at the top of the device, and it’s the usual 3.5mm one.
On the right hand side, you have the volume rocker and the power button. It’s convenient
that the power button on the device is bumpy deliberately so that you can tell the
difference between which one switches the phone on and which one controls the volume. The
screen is also 5.5 inches.
The latest OS on the phone is Android 7.0 Nougat, which runs very well, and is only one
version behind the latest, and the latest android version is 8.0 Oreo. This device is one
of the most Android-like Android devices you can get, apart from some useful pre-installed
apps. For example, there is moto, an app that can set the device so that it automatically
goes to silent when turned upside down, make it so that when you double shake it the light
automatically turns on. Also, the Frequency Modulation radio is very nice and the design
is superb. The signal is also very good as well. Google Assistant also works very well on
the Motorola Moto Generation Four.
