Review

Google Duo is a video calling app by Google. It doesn't necessarily have a predecessor, but it is one of the many communication applications made by the company. The closest thing to a predecessor it would have, though, would be Google Hangouts' ability to do video calling. Even though Google Duo, itself, isn't that much of a failiure, it was originally meant to pair with an app that Google got rid of, which was Google Allo. Google Allo would be the messaging client, and Google Duo was the video calling app for that. Now that Allo has gone, and the fact that that is a story for another time entirely, Duo is supposed to accompany Android Messages, and is doing a reasonable job at it
Even though, like most (all) of Google's messaging services, it doesn't have a significant amount of traffic, but, that doesn't take away from the features that it does have, which you can find above, but it is still a reasonable video calling app nonetheless. It has a nice user interface and is rather speedy and quick.
